A shore thing? Without a doubt! But if you’re looking to take a break from the water sports, saltwater fishing, boating to restaurants and the Atlantic City’s casinos, don’t overlook the fact that more than half of Little Egg Harbor Township is forest. We offer access to Bass River State Forest, freshwater streams and lakes to kayak and fish, and some of the best hiking trails in the state of New Jersey. Whether you are a tent camper, hauling a trailer or are one of those big RV glampers, check out one of the two campgrounds we are proud to say are members of the Chamber and an active part of the community. Both offer entertainment, swimming pools, clubhouses and an awesome family camping experience. If you find yourself saltwater logged in Little Egg Harbor, maybe it’s time to experience the other half of our community. Take a hike and search out some unique wildlife, pack up the kids and hit one of our campgrounds for the weekend, or grab the kayak and/or fishing poles and try one of our freshwater streams or lakes. There is something for everyone in Little Egg Harbor.
